Boston — (November 13, 2019) — AAA Inspected & Approved assigns Boston Harbor Hotel the highest diamond rating of Five Diamonds as one of North America’s most luxurious accommodations. The AAA Diamond rating for a hotel represents a combination of overall quality, range of facilities, and level of services offered by the property.
Located on the historic Rowes Wharf, the Boston Harbor Hotel is the city’s only waterfront Forbes five-star and now AAA Five-Diamond waterfront hotel. The iconic property is known for picturesque views of Boston Harbor and exceptional service. In 2018 the urban resort debuted the most luxurious suite in Boston, the John Adams Presidential Suite.
“The Boston Harbor Hotel team is incredibly proud and honored to achieve such a coveted rating,” said Boston Harbor Hotel General Manager Stephen Johnston. “We are passionate about luxury and we strive every day to give our guests an experience that is truly beyond compare. To have the experts from AAA validate our achievements is extraordinary.”
AAA Inspected & Approved evaluate hotels and restaurants based upon an unannounced on-site inspection using a rating of One to Five Diamonds. Diamonds are attained based on the extensiveness of services, facilities and amenities typical of each rating level, indicating the type of experience to expect.
The coveted Five Diamond achievement ranks the Boston Harbor Hotel among fewer than half a percent of the more than 27,000 AAA Inspected & Approved lodgings. The Five Diamond rating represents “ultimate luxury, sophistication and comfort with extraordinary physical attributes, meticulous personalized service, extensive amenities and impeccable standards of excellence,” according to AAA online.
“AAA is pleased to recognize the Boston Harbor Hotel with the Five Diamond Rating, meaning its unwavering attention to both service and surroundings have placed it into the upper echelon of AAA Inspected & Approved hotels,” said Michael Petrone, director of AAA Inspections & Diamond Ratings. “Five Diamond properties consistently exceed expectations to provide their guests a highly personalized, memorable experience.”
